About this calculator

This rate calculator converts a completed round count and elapsed time into rounds per minute, second, hour, and seconds per round.

Formula notes

rounds per second = rounds / seconds; rounds per minute = per second x 60; rounds per hour = per second x 3600; seconds per round = seconds / rounds.

Worked examples

  1. Example: 30 rounds in 10 seconds gives 180 rounds per minute and 0.333 seconds per round.
  2. 45 rounds in 15 seconds equals 180 rounds per minute and 3 rounds per second.

How to use it

  1. Enter the number of rounds.
  2. Enter the elapsed time and its unit.
  3. Read rounds per minute, second, hour, and seconds per round.

Frequently asked questions

What if zero rounds are entered?

Zero rounds is valid; the per-round time is reported as empty.

Can I use minutes or hours for elapsed time?

Yes. Seconds, minutes, and hours are all supported.

Limits and interpretation

  • The calculator assumes a constant average rate over the elapsed time; bursts or pauses are smoothed out.
  • Zero rounds are accepted, and the seconds-per-round output is then empty.
