Formula notes

difference = end date − start date in whole days; including the end date adds 1.

Worked examples

1. Example: 2026-01-01 to 2026-01-31 is 30 days, or 31 days when counting both endpoints.
2. From 2026-07-01 to 2026-07-25, the elapsed difference is 24 days; counting both calendar endpoints would produce 25 date labels.
