Bar to ATM Conversion

This pressure converter translates bar, standard atmospheres, and pascals through a shared pascal base for quick engineering and science checks.

Formula notes

Convert the input to pascals with the selected unit factor, then scale: bar = Pa / 100000, atm = Pa / 101325, and pascals are the base value.

Worked examples

1. Example: 1 bar equals exactly 100000 Pa, or about 0.98692 atm.
2. 2 bar equals 200000 Pa, or about 1.9738 atm.
